Cellist Jiyoung Lee Featured at 80th season Bergen Philharmonic Concert

The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra concert features cellist Jiyoung Lee, known for her passionate interpretations, and musical depth.

The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra 80th concert series concludes with cellist Jiyoung Lee, known for her passionate interpretations, musical depth, and sensitive performances. Ms. Lee will perform the Cello Concerto in C by Joseph Haydn. Ms. Lee has performed with many orchestras throughout the US as well as abroad. She was one of the 2014 Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra/Young Artists Competition winners. While earning her Master’s Degree at The Juilliard School as a student of Timothy Eddy, she served as principal cellist of the Juilliard Orchestra. She also received the prestigious Artist Diploma at The Juilliard School studying with Joel Krosnick. Ms Lee is currently pursuing her Doctorate at the New England Conservatory of Music. Guest conductor for the evening's performance is Kyle Ritenauer, known for his many-faceted career as a conductor, percussionist and Teaching Artist in the New York City area.

The repertoire includes works by Ravel and Mendelssohn. The performance will be held at 8:00 pm Saturday, May 21st at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School, Teaneck, NJ. Ticket pricing is: Adults: $25, Seniors:$20, Students:$10, under 11 free.
