Trial Date Set for Man Accused Of Murdering Teaneck Resident Robert Cantor

Sui Kam Tung is charged with murdering Cantor and burning down his Teaneck home.

Superior Court Judge Liliana DeAvila-Silebi Monday set a date of Sept. 15 for Sui Kam “Tony” Tung’s trial, NorthJersey.com reported.

Tung is accused of stalking and murdering his wife, who was in the process of divorcing him, and the man she was in a relationship with, Robert Cantor.

Tung was indicted in June 2013. He was charged with murder, felony murder, stalking, criminal possession of a handgun, and aggravated arson. He also faces charges of hindering, desecration of human remains, and tampering with evidence.

Tung first learning of the relationship in 2010 and stalked Cantor, eventually confronting him at his home the night before he was found dead, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said when Tung was indicted.
