Beachwood 2018 Memorial Day Parade, EMS Barbecue Set For Monday

The annual parade will conclude with a memorial service at Neilson Monument Park; the barbecue has a different location this year.

BEACHWOOD, NJ — Beachwood's annual Memorial Day commemoration is scheduled for Monday, May 28, and once again there is a barbecue fundraiser following the parade.

The parade begins at 11 a.m., leaving from the Beachwood Volunteer Firehouse at Beachwood Boulevard and Maple Street and ends with a memorial service at Neilson Monument Park at the corner of Beachwood Boulevard and Compass Avenue.

Beginning at 11 a.m. Beachwood Emergency Medical Services will be holding a barbecue fundraiser at the EMS building, at the corner of Beachwood Boulevard and Capstan Avenue, just east of Route 9. Hotdogs, hamburgers and more, with the funds going to support the squad. The barbecue has been held at Mayo Park previously but is at the squad building this year.
