5 Shoplifters Arrested, One Still At Large In Watching: Police
The suspect was described as 5'4" 130 to 140 pound Hispanic male in his early 20s with short black hair and a beard, Watchung Police report.

WATCHUNG, NJ — A total of five people were arrested for shoplifting at Watchung stores and one is still at large, police report.
Watchung Police Blotter:
On June 14 at 4 p.m.: Home Depot on Route 22 West reported a shoplifter who fled from the store with merchandise. The suspect was described as 5'4" 130- to 140-pound Hispanic man in his early 20s with short black hair and a beard. The suspect was wearing a rainbow shirt and blue shorts with a white stripe. The suspect removed tools valued at $1,298 and fled from the area in a beige mini-van. Police are investigating.

On June 19 at 12:51 a.m.: Adriann Roulhac, 34, of Plainfield was arrested for having an active warrant out of Plainfield Municipal Court for $1,000 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. Roulhac was a passenger who was not wearing her seat belt during the stop. Roulhac was transported to Watchung headquarters, processed and turned over to Plainfield Police in lieu of bail.
On June 18 at 1:32 a.m.: Egbert Francis, 53, of Plainfield was arrested for having an active warrant out of South Plainfield Municipal Court. Francis was transported to Watchung headquarters, processed and turned over to South Plainfield Police in lieu of bail.

On June 16 at 1:11 p.m.: Michael Mansour, 24, of Newark was arrested for hindering apprehension and having an active warrant for $350 out of Newark following a traffic stop on Hillcrest Road where Mansour gave police a different name. Mansour was transported to Watchung headquarters, processed and released on a summonses from Watchung and released on his own recognizance for the Newark warrant. A passenger in the van, Jose Diaz-Algarin, 20, of Newark was also arrested for having two active warrants out of Newark for $5,500. Diaz-Algarin was transported to Watchung headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance for the Newark warrants.
On June 15 at 1:41 p.m.: Charles Bray, 52, of Elizabeth was arrested for shoplifting assorted clothing valued at $813.04 from Target. Bray was transported to Watchung headquarters for processing. During processing, Cray was found to have an active warrant out of Elizabeth for $250 under his alias Charlie McGhee. Elizabeth released Bray on his own recognizance and Bray was issued a summonses for shoplifting and released with a court date by Watchung police.
On June 15 at 11:47 a.m.: Simone Henderson, 44, of Plainfield selected various pieces of clothing, placed them in a shopping cart and attempted to push the car of merchandise out of the store without paying. The merchandise totaled $666.85. A Target loss prevention officer stopped Henderson at the store's exit. Henderson was transported to Watchung headquarters for processing and released with a court date.
On June 15 at 10:46 a.m.: Visar Hasangjekaj, 26, of Hillside was arrested for having an active warrant out of Woodbridge for $150 and hindering apprehension for giving his brother's name to police following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. He was transported to Watchung headquarters for processing and released with a summonses and after posting cash bail. A passenger in the van, Donnell Johnson, 60, of Elizabeth was also arrested for having two active warrants totaling $500 from Elizabeth. Johnson was transported to Watchung headquarters for processing and released with a summonses and after posting cash bail.
On June 11 at 12:58 p.m.: Mark Dubecky, 46, of Bound Brook was arrested for shoplifting. Home Depot loss prevention officer reported observing Dubecky removing a power tool valued at $249 off the store's display shelf and exit the store without paying. Dubecky was also found to be possession of 1 hypodermic needle commonly used to inject heroin, five empty wax folds commonly used to package heroin and one metal spoon commonly used to melt the heroin. Dubecky was also charged with possession of hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dubecky was released on summonses and a court date.
On June 12 at 5:07 p.m.: Tayir Pugh, 34, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting. A Walmart loss prevention officer reported witnessing Pugh take a hat to the self checkout and attempt to scan it but it did not scan it. Pugh then paid for other items and left the store without paying for the hat valued at $9.96. Pugh was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was processed and released with a summonses and court date.
On June 9 at 6:44 p.m.: Mary Terkowski, 30, of South Bound Brook was arrested for shoplifting $293.74 worth of unpaid merchandise from Target on Route 22 West. A loss prevention officer reported Terkowski attempting to leave the store after selecting multiple articles of baby clothing, toys and electronics off the display shelf. Terkowski was arrested and a search of her purse found two hypodermic needles, a single dosage unit of Xanax and a straw containing a green residue consistent with the color of the Xanax pill. Terkowski was also found to have two outstanding warrants out of South Plainfield for $1,000 and $500. Terkowski posted full cash bail and was released pending a court date.
