Mullica Hill Woman Embezzled Funds From Marine Corps League: DA
The Commandant of the Upland Chapter of the League and the Chapter Paymaster are accused conspiring to steal $53,000 from the league.

MEDIA, PA — A Gloucester County woman and a Pennsylvania man are facing charges for allegedly embezzling funds from the Marine Corps League of Delaware County, according to authorities.
Kera Kiss, 39 of Mullica Hill, and Alan Staniskis, 48, of Swarthmore, PA, have been arrested and charged with felony theft, conspiracy and possession of stolen property, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said on Friday.
Stakiskis was the Commandant of the Upland Chapter of the League and Kiss was the Chapter Paymaster.

Staniskis is accused of issuing several payments to him from the organization's accounts totaling more than $53,000. Authorities said Kiss is altered the organization's books and ledgers to hide these improper withdrawals.
They were arrested on Thursday and released on unsecured bail after being arraigned. Both are slated for Feb. 20 preliminary hearings, court records show.
