2015 Scholarship for Greater Pascack Valley HS Seniors
Each year, the GPVCOC sponsors a scholarship for deserving graduating high school seniors in the greater Pascack Valley.
For several years, the Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce has sponsored scholarship to area high school seniors who are attending college. This $500 scholarship is awarded to a senior student who has demonstrated a commitment to his /her community evidenced by volunteer work throughout his/her high school years. The student should be ranked at least in the top half of the class academically. Scholarship applications include information such as:
- GPA and decile
- List community service/volunteer work
- Short essay explaining to the Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce why the candidate feels her/she should receive this scholarship. Include additional specific details on community service activity and the candidate’s college plans.
Applications are being handled directly through the local high schools typically through their guidance departements. Please do not directly contact the chamber for submissions.
