ARCHITECTS LEAGUE OF NORTHERN NEW JERSEY HONORS PAUL BRYAN LAN Associates employee receives Vegliante Memorial Award

The Architects League of Northern New Jersey recently presented Paul S. Bryan, AIA, an associate architect with LAN Associates headquartered in Midland Park, with the Vegliante Memorial Award.

 

Architects League Past President Joyce Raspa, AIA, Esq., presented the award to Bryan for his achievements, accomplishments and distinguished service to the architect profession. It is the highest accolade that can be bestowed upon a member. The Architects League of Northern NJ is one of six sections of the NJ chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The league’s territory covers Bergen, Passaic and Sussex counties.

Mr. Bryan has been a member of the Architects League since 1997 and currently serves as First Vice President. Bryan became a Board Trustee in 2010 as Chair of the Communications Committee and was elected for a two-year term as Secretary in 2011. Bryan was honored with the Trustees Award in 2008 and again in 2011 for his dedication to the League. Bryan is also Co-Editor of Leagueline, a quarterly publication for the League.

Mr. Bryan has been with LAN since 1997 and currently serves as an Associate Architect, designing educational, health care and ecclesiastical projects. He is also the editor of LAN’s quarterly newsletter.

 

Some of Mr. Bryan’s recent notable educational projects include the new Memorial School and renovations and additions to High Mountain School, both in North Haledon.  Earlier projects include Van Dyk Park Place in Hawthorne and the Christian Health Care Center Heritage Manor West great room addition in Wyckoff. Bryans architectural renderings have been included in the book Folk and Styled Architecture in North Louisiana, Volume II. Bryan has also authored articles for trade magazines, including Costs and Trends and Louisiana Contractor. Mr. Bryan currently resides in Warwick, New York.
