Assemblywomen Schepisi joins Tourette Syndrome walk Honorary Committee

WESTWOOD -- The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS) is proud to announce that Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi (R) of State Legislative District 39 has joined the Honorary Committee for the NJ Walks For TS at Ramapo College on Sunday, April 14.

The committee also consists of United States Congressmen Albio Sires (D-NJ8), Leonard Lance (R-NJ7), Rush Holt (D-NJ12) and Scott Garrett (R-NJ5), as well as State Senator Gerald Cardinale (R), who also represents State Legislative District 39. Congressional District 5 and State Legislative District 39 are home to Ramapo College, which is hosting this event for the first time.

“The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders is pleased that Assemblywoman Schepisi has stepped up to support Tourette Syndrome awareness and advocacy by lending her distinguished name to this great cause,” NJCTS Executive Director Faith W. Rice said. “We thank her for the work she has done on behalf of our organization and the TS community in her district, and look forward to a wonderful day at Ramapo College.”

Registration for the event will begin at 1 p.m. on April 14, with the walk commencing at 2 p.m. The cost is $10 for current Ramapo College students only (must show college ID and/or have a valid Ramapo e-mail address; not applicable for Ramapo faculty or former students) and $22.50 for the general public.
