Kessler Rehabilitation Center to present a FREE Seminar on How to Help Aging Parents Retire from Driving
Kessler Rehabilitation Center (www.kessler-pt.com) located at 275 Forest Avenue, Paramus, N.J. will host a free seminar on Taking Away the Keys: How to Help Aging Parents Retire from Driving on Wednesday, April 24 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Beth Rolland, OT, a Certified Rehabilitation Driving Specialist (CDRS) at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, will discuss how driving skills decline as people age and the signs of unsafe driving behaviors, as well as the diagnoses and medications that may impact driving ability. She will also offer strategies to help ease family members from driving and discuss alternate transportation options.
