EMERGENCEY TRAINING DRILL
Staff members of the Pascack Valley Swim Club and members
of the Westwood Volunteer Ambulance Corps held a drill at the Pascack Valley
Swim Club on a cool Tuesday evening in June.
Lead by Westwood EMS volunteer Kevin Brennan and
facilitated by pool manager Lisa Adamek, valuable training was provided for
staff members of the swim club as well as the EMS volunteers. They ran through
several emergency situations including how to respond in case of suspected neck
or back injuries
The Pascack Valley Swim Club, established in 1963 is
located at 140 Tillman Street, Westwood and is open to residents from all towns.
Red Cross certified lifeguards are always on duty during operating hours, and
the Westwood Ambulance Corps. is just minutes away.
