
Sorry for not having posted for a while. Some physical, emotional, and spiritual stuff related to my Mom's recent passing have held me up a bit.
This post will be kind of meaningless unless you can view the attached photo. While I'm not 100% certain that it is a picture of a goldfinch, this bird apparently likes the bushes next to our front door.
But the photo is of the "bird on a wire" and brings to mind what this fellow/gal can see that we cannot. I am not suggesting that we climb up on a physical perch to see what's around us. However, sometimes we do need to step back, take a breath (don't forget to exhale), and witness all that's around us.
Sure, there's a lot of outright "garbage" out there, but there's also a whole lot of beauty - physical and otherwise. I also realize that some days are better than others. I'm hoping that those "better" ones will increase.
