The Westwood 3/4 team nicknamed "Big Blue" head coached by Chris Anderson beat town rival "Green Machine" recently by a score of 4-0. It was a game highlighted by several stellar pitching performances.
Katie A. – two innings pitched, 12 consecutive strikes at one point and a tremendous put out at home plate.

All told: 14 of the 15 outs recorded in the game were via strike out. As we know, pitching means a lot in softball and the future looks bright for these young players.
