3rd Annual Environmental Film Festival Begins This Weekend

3rd Annual Green Screen, February 4th-February 12th. Over a dozen award winning films presented with talks and activities. Films for adults, families and kids.

Worry about access to clean water, or what to do when our landfills are full are not just some day concerns, they are today and right now.  Attempting to balance protection of our fragile envirnoment with the more immediate need for jobs and energy present tremendous challenges and the information we receive can be difficult to understand and sometimes controversial.  One powerful way to start better understanding the issues we face is through film and you can start this weekend by participating in the 3rd Annual Green Screen.

This year's Green Screen, organized by the Westwood Library and Kids & Teens for Earth, presents over a dozen award winning films concerning the big issues of our day--water, garbage, oil, fracking--to help you understand, take part in the discussion, be part of the solution.

The Green Screen is a true community effort:
