5/6 Pampin Team: Early Ups and Downs

Win a few, lose a few - the 5/6 Pampin team still shows resiliency

The 5/6 grade team head-coached by Rich Pampin, is off to a strong start. But after winning their first two games, they fought valiantly but lost game #3 in Woodcliff Lake. At least they now know they don't have the pressure of going through the season undefeated! Their strategy seems to be to start each game a little slow, with the girls getting their heads in the game and maintaining focus. This has caused them to have to come from behind on several occasions. But give the girls credit: they show resiliency and fight back, winning some and those they lose, they've fallen just short. The girls are learning and improving every game. They've got to work on catching up to the faster pitchers they face, and on defense: knowing where to make the play. The coaches are excited to see the team grow and learn as the year rolls on.
