Coming to Town - 48 Hours Edition

Yeah, I'm trying to be a bit funny with today's blog title.  Well, the countdown continues as we are 48 hours from starting at my new location in Westwood (Sunday morning) and 72 hours from moving next door to my new workplace (Monday morning).  This blog will need to change its name and its focus.  That is if I continue it.

I've enjoyed these semi-occasional opportunities to share with you our transition process these past few months.  It's been a couple of weeks since I've visited the borough and I miss it already.  Most of my time has been focused on the new position/job but I have taken the time -- no, MADE the time -- to "explore" my surroundings.

We are happy with the schools, best as we know, and the library is also nearby.  The restaurants and shopping deserve honorable mention as well.  I checked out a couple of gyms, walked through several borough neighborhoods, spoke with both residents and business operators, and basically enjoyed myself.

Now the REAL work begins.  See you soon.
