Coming to Town - Borderline Awesome

At this point in our planned transition (i.e., move) to Westwood, the excitement is building.  On Thursday 14 June, I took my _____ trip to the borough.  I've visited so many times that I cannot come up with an accurate count.  I took the train, as has been my practice.  Well, three trains actually.  It was perhaps the best day to see the town with only a few threats of showers (better than last time).

I was able to visit (patronize, if you will) three new establishments that I never frequented before.  Met some great people, some in the borough and some related to what will be my new position.  It's hard to quantify, but I would say that THIS visit really pushed me over the edge from "anticipation" to "excitement" based upon my interactions with the "locals" (sorry for the phrase, but it's my best one).  Hey, I'll be one soon enough.

One of the things that I do not feel we (wife and daughter, included) will have any trouble with is being welcomed to our new home of Westwood.  When?  Thanks for asking.  In about 2-1/2 weeks from this posting we'll be welcoming the moving truck.  Then comes the whole Change Of Address thing.

We wouldn't have it any other way.
