Step Onto the Field With Westwood's Girls' Teams

Hi everyone, it's Coach Mike. You've probably seen me around town, or more specifically on the diamonds during Westwood Softball season. I've been coaching Westwood teams for about five years, as I have a daughter who's grown up through the league (now a ninth-grader) and an 11-year-old still playing at the 5/6 level. I help coach my daughter's team, and I also assist Chris Anderson with his 3/4 team. I'm endeavoring to write a semi-regular blog to give you a feel for the sport and our teams.
