The trademarked New Jersey humidity was present Monday night @ Veterans Park in Westwood (along with a few expected mosquitos) for the first of four weekly Movies In The Park, sponsored by the Westwood Recreation Department. But with the light "steam" and usual bugs came a beautiful sunset and an even better evening.
In addition to this unsolicited weather report, I witnessed over a hundred (200?) people enjoying themselves at the mid-point of Summer 2012. A local pre-school was handing out paper crowns (of which my daughter both wanted and loved) and there was an unmistakable festive air going through the crowd. Humidity? What humidity?
