Westwood's Character: Urban - Suburban?

There seems to be a lot of talk about the so called "character" of Westwood. We have some developers who don't want it to change. We have residents who feel parking too many cars in a driveway will change the character. With all the traffic delays, trains every minute, airplanes  overhead and just plain noise doesn't this alone change the "character" of Westwood? But what is the "character" of Westwood? Let us know what you think the "character" of Westwood should be.
