Discussions of Convenience Store, IHA Roof Variance on Zoning Board Agenda
The Washington Township Zoning Board is expected to continue hearing about the Sky Trading Application and discuss a variance for IHA solar panels

Members of the Washington Township Zoning Board are expected to continue hearing about the Sky Trading application, which aims to demolish at the intersection of Pascack Road and Washington Avenue and replace it with a convenience store and gas island.
At the last Zoning Board meeting, in the area if this application were to be approved. Board members and residents raised concerns, but the expert claimed the applicant would improve the traffic situation.
In addition to the Sky Trading application, board members are expected to hear an application for a variance from Immaculate Heart Academy. The school is seeking a variance that would allow for solar panels to be installed on more than 10 percent of the roof. The issue was originally slated to be before the board at the September meeting, but it was carried.
