Ginger N' Cream is holding a Valentine's Day shopping event called "Show Wendy Some Love" on Feb. 7 from 5-8pm. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Wendy Ruggiero Family Fund. Wendy is a wife and mother of three who was injured in a diving accident and sustained serious neck and spinal cord injuries. In addition, Wendy's 4 year old daughter is currently being treated for Neuroblastoma and OMS. The money raised will contribute to the family fund, which offsets medical costs and other financial challenges that the family is currently facing.
The event will be held at Ginger N' Cream and Ginger Kids, 350 and 351 Center Avenue in Westwood. (201)664-2440. Fun music and light refreshments will be served.
