
NEW WESTWOOD ROTARY CLUB SETS FIRST MEETING
WESTWOOD, NJ…Would you like to help your community and even make a difference in the world? Want to make new friends and business connections? Then join the Rotary Club of Westwood for its organizational meeting on Thursday, January 31st, 12:15 PM at Burke’s, 65 Old Hook Road, Westwood, NJ.
Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders. Rotary’s main objective is service to the community and around the globe. Our projects are current and relevant. For example, we are helping those in need in New Jersey recover from Hurricane Sandy. Locally, we are involved in several projects including aid to food pantries.

Rotary, in conjunction with UNICEF and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has been responsible for practically wiping out the scourge of polio around the globe by sending thousands of volunteers to immunize children in places like India, Pakistan and Nigeria.
Businessmen and women, retired individuals, and community leaders are warmly welcomed as members.

The new Westwood Club will meet (weekly) to plan what projects would most benefit this community. The club will server Hillsdale, River Vale, Washington Township and Westwood.
