Registrationfor the Westwood Track and Field Association Team is open to residents born from Jan. 1, 1997 through Dec. 31, 2004.
Races include sprints, middle distance and distance. Field events include the long jump, high jump, triple jump, shotput throw, discus throw and turbo javelin. There are no tryouts.
Registration and the first practice will be held today at the Track on Third Avenue, also known as the “A” Field.
Additional practices are held every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from now through Memorial Day. Throughout the season there are six meets scheduled - all on Sundays.
The participation fee includes all meet admission fees, insurance and a running shirt.
