FEMA Grant Meeting in Westwood Saturday
The borough is one of 13 communities in the state with eligible residents.

FEMA representatives will meet with Westwood residents Saturday morning to discuss the Hazard Mitigation Assistance grant program.
According to a letter sent to residents by the borough, FEMA has about $45 million to allocate for grants by the end of the year.
Westwood is one of 13 "high priority" New Jersey communities that have residents who are elligible for the program due to damage caused by Hurricane Irene. However, any interested residents needed to return a note of voluntary interest by November 22.

The meeting has been moved from its originally planned location at Borough Hall to the at 55 Jefferson Avenue at 10 a.m. Saturday.
