A Gift from the Heart - Donation by Local Teen

Emily Wolf, daughter of Robert and Maxine Wolf, and student at Pascack Valley High School, has donated her hair to Locks of Love.

Having red hair is very rare and growing it out took a lot of work, especially in the heat of the summer months. She did this for one reason - to give a sense of self, normalcy and confidence to children suffering from cancer/hair loss.

Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss caused by major health conditions, including cancer.

She had grown her hair for a long time; the minimum donation length is 10 inches.

Her hair was cut by Kristen at Panico Salon in Oradell.
