Unique Fundraiser for Bergen SWAN, Sunday, December 7
Hackensack River StoryNight: A Celebration of the River in Words

A unique and special fundraising event for Bergen Save the Watershed Action Network (Bergen SWAN). A special evening of learning and stories by lantern light at the stunning Demarest Railroad Station.
The evening will commence with a tribute to SWAN’s Co-Director, Mark G. Becker, followed by a watershed slide presentation by Watershed Educator, Nancy Slowik.
Playwright Will MacAdams will lead a story circle to the theme of Going by the Water: Experiences by Local Streams, Brooks, Lakes, Ponds & Rivers. Watershed advocates Lori Charkey, Barton Knight, Nancy Slowik, Bill Sheehan, and Hugh Carola will tell their stories and up to 15 guests, based on registration sequence, will have the opportunity to tell their tales as well.
