Hillsdale Woman Drives Car into House
Police said the woman may have accidentally hit the gas instead of the break when pulling into her driveway.
A Riverdale Street resident accidentally crashed her car through her garage and into her house Friday afternoon, according to Hillsdale Police.
The car went through the home's garage and broke down an interior wall, destroying some furniture in a room behind the garage before coming to a stop at the back wall of the house, according to Hillsdale Police Sergeant Joseph Mazzeo.
Mazzeo said he was not sure what caused the accident, though it was likely the driver accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.

There were no injuries.
Mazzeo said the home would have to be evaluated by a construction official to determine whether or not it was structurally safe.
