Local Athlete Plays in Top Football Program
Washington Township resident Vincent Karabatsos played along some of the best youth football players from the United States and Sweden.
Washington Township resident Vincent Karabatsos recently tested his football skills against players from around the country and a team of young athletes from Sweden in the USA Football Under-15 International Development Week at the University of Texas.
"There was a lot of talent there," Karabatsos said. "Probably more talent than I've ever seen in one place."

Karabatsos, 14, was most recently a member of the Washington Township Falcons, coached by Scott Spezial. He will be attending Bergen Catholic High School in the fall.
About 140 talented youth football players from the country were divided up into three teams. They developed their skills alongside Swedish players and participated in drills with them. When not practicing, the players stayed at the University of Texas at Austin and used their time off the field to get to know both their fellow national team members and the Swedish players.
