Local Bike Shop Holds Grand Re-Opening

With summer right around the corner and gas prices rocketing toward $4 and $5 per gallon, many residents are left wondering how they’ll be able to have some fun this summer at an affordable cost. Well maybe you should buy a bike, and what better place then a local shop? held its grand re-opening celebration Saturday after closing its doors to remodel and expand its inventory. The celebration was hosted by Westwood Cycle’s sponsor Giant Bikes.

Attendees were treated to food, beverages and a presentation by Giant rider, professional mountain biker, New Jersey native and world record holding bunny hop champion Jeff Lenosky. Lenosky dazzled onlookers with a stunning display of balance, power and creativity. At the end of the day, Giant raffled off a bike and Westwood’s friendly neighborhood bike shop is back serving local cyclists.
