Local salon lends support to Meals on Wheels
Studio M Salon in Westwood teams up with Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels for annual hunger awareness campaign.
Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels (PVMOW), a local non-profit that provides nutritious meals to home-bound seniors in Bergen County is thrilled to be partnering with Studio M Beauty Boutique (Studio M) for their annual March for Meals hunger awareness and fundraising campaign. Throughout the month of March, Studio M will be donating 20% of eligible services received by new clients who mention the campaign.
“It’s a sincere honor to be a part of this effort, “ said Michele Galbo, owner of Studio M. “It’s so important to give back. We’re in the beauty business and there’s nothing more beautiful than giving.”
Jeanne Martin, director of PVMOW added, “Our goal is to not only raise funds to support the program, but to also raise awareness that there are seniors in our community who need, and more importantly, deserve our assistance. The Meals on Wheels volunteers provide an important service in helping our elders live independently . Everyone should be aware of the seniors in their neighborhood and help when they can.”
