Police Say Driver Intentionally Hit Jogger, Fled
Westwood Police are still searching for the driver.

Westwood Police are searching for a man accused of intentionally hitting a jogger with his car on Lexington Avenue after an argument Tuesday night.
According to Police Chief Frank Regino, the driver aimed the car off the road and hit the victim, who was jogging on the sidewalk after they allegedly had an argument. When the jogger slid off the hood of the car, the driver backed up and sped off, Regino said. A resident heard the commotion and called police at about 6:50 p.m.
Regino said the victim had been jogging along Kinderkamack Road and approached an intersection at the same time as a driver in a gray or silver Honda. The driver, whom police described as between 18 and 22-years-old, stopped short as the jogger entered the street, Regino said.

The pair had an argument, and the driver then sped off, Regino said.
When the jogger reached Lexington Avenue, the driver came back with a passenger in his mid-40s, police said. The passenger got out of the car and argued with the jogger, who continued running along the Lexington Avenue sidewalk.
