Public Hearing on Recreation Fee Ordinance, Possible Introduction of Cell Tower Ordinance at Towship Council Meeting

At the Washington Township council meeting scheduled for Monday night, council members are expected to hold a public hearing and vote on the approval of an ordinance for the recreation fees. Council members previously introduced the ordinance, which calls for .

According to the meeting agenda, the council might also introduce an ordinance about a height restriction for the cell tower set to be installed in the township next to the police station.

Instead of holding the conference portion of the council meeting after the public portion, Council President Fred Goetz said councilmen will hold a budget meeting in an effort to finalize the 2011 municipal budget as quickly as possible.
