STAC Named to 2014 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll
STAC recognized by Presidential Office for bettering their communities through community service.

(Sparkill, NY- June 9, 2015) – St. Thomas Aquinas College was named to the 2014 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), announced Dr. Margaret Fitzpatrick, S.C., president of the College. It is an honor recognizing the nation’s leading higher education institutions and their students, faculty and staff for their commitment to bettering their communities through service.
Selection to the Honor Roll is recognition from the highest levels of the federal government of a school’s commitment to service and civic engagement on campus and in the nation. These are institutions that reflect the values of exemplary community service and achieve meaningful outcomes in their communities.
“I am so proud of our students, faculty and staff here at St. Thomas. Their hard work and dedication is a model for all of us. Giving back through various community service efforts has enhanced our students’ overall learning experience and extended it beyond the classroom and into our society. It is truly an honor for our institution to receive this recognition,” said Dr. Fitzpatrick.
