State Board to Hear HUMC Application Tuesday Morning
Transportation will be available to the hearing in East Windsor.

The State Health Planning Board will hear Hackensack University Medical Center's application to revive the former Pascack Valley Hospital at a meeting in East Windsor Tuesday morning.
If approved, HUMC will reopen the hospital as a full-service, 128-bed facility. In a report on its new Master Plan this year, Borough of Westwood planners described having a hospital as a "critical objective," though area residents expressed both supporting and opposing opinions

The hearing starts at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Holiday Inn of East Windsor, located at 399 Monmouth Street in East Windsor. There will be a bus available to the meeting, leaving from the front parking lot of the hospital. Anyone who wants to reserve a seat can call (201) 996-3766.
