Testimony to Continue for Sky Trading Application at Zoning Board Meeting

IHA is also scheduled to apply for a variance to allow solar panels on the school roof

Members of the Washington Township Zoning Board are expected to continue hearing testimony Tuesday about the proposed convenience store at the intersection of Pascack Road and Washington Avenue, where currently sits.

Also on the agenda is an application from , which is seeking a variance to cover more than 10 percent of the school roof for solar panels.

The original application for a CVS on Pascack Road near Washington Avenue has been withdrawn because of significant revisions and changes. A new application with the plans is expected to be submitted in time for the board to begin hearing testimony at the Oct. 18 meeting.

According to the agenda, there will be a motion to carry the Cingular Wireless and Omnipoint Communications application until Dec. 31. Two residents are also expected to ask for a variance to complete a garage addition on their Wilson Avenue home.

The Washington Township Zoning Board meeting is scheduled to begin Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the courtroom of the municipal complex, 350 Hudson Ave.
