CVS Application Begins Tuesday, Convenience Store Hearing Postponed
Sky Trading wants to build a new store and gas station on the corner of Washington Avenue and Pascack Road

The Washington Township Zoning Board is scheduled to hear the application for a new CVS on the corner of Washington Avenue and Pascack Road at their meeting Tuesday night.
Sky Trading's application to demolish and build a new gas station and convenience store, also at the intersection of Washington and Pascack, has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict with the applicant's attorney.
CVS plans to demolish the existing home on the site and build a 14,600-square-foot store. They will need a use variance, as the land is in a residential zone, though there are other businesses in the area including 5 Star Gas and .

CVS had to build a second 4,000-square-foot retail store on the site along with their own, but the new plan has removed the additional space.
