Treacherous Road Conditions in The Township of Washington due to Ineffective Leadership
Looking for victims who drove on Township roads on Sunday, 1/18/15, to join in a class action lawsuit against the mayor and council.
Mother Nature was responsible for the icy road conditions in The Township of Washington on Sunday, January 18, 2015. However, the mayor and council’s negligence were responsible for the town’s treacherous roads and the endangerment of the lives of anyone who ventured out.
At 8 AM, the town’s roads remained impassable. They were sheets of ice, untouched by salt trucks. The numerous fender benders and stuck vehicles confirm that driving safely was impossible. Allegedly, the large salt trucks were inoperable and the mayor refused to allocate money for the repairs and overtime for the road crew. This is inexcusable.
It is the homeowner’s responsibility to clear his or her sidewalk; similarly, it is the mayor’s responsibility to ensure our roads are drivable.

It is time to hold our local government accountable for the safety of our citizens. I am looking for victims of the life threatening road conditions on Sunday, January 18, 2015, to join me in a class action lawsuit against the mayor and council for negligence and endangering the lives of others. I am also looking for an attorney willing to donate his or her time to this controversial issue.
