Veterans Eligible for Honorary Service Cards

Bergen County is distributing the cards, which can be used for discounts at participating county businesses and organizations

Veterans living in Bergen County are now eligible to receive Honorary Service Cards that can be used to provide discounts at businesses and organizations across the county.

To obtain the free wallet-sized card, veterans need only fill out a short application and present valid photo identification and a copy of their discharge papers at the Hackensack office of County Clerk Elizabeth Randall, located at One Bergen County Plaza, Room 122.

The application can be downloaded online or picked up at the clerk’s office.

A complete list of the participating businesses and organizations that offer discounts to veterans is being compiled and will be posted on the clerk’s website as soon as it’s available.

The county clerk’s office hours are Mondays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
