Westvale Park Discussions Set to Continue

The Westwood council meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday

Members of the Westwood governing body are expected to continue talking about the grand opening for , as well as a sign for the facility, at the council work session meeting Tuesday night.

At the last council meeting, July 19, and debated having the park's dedication after the playground was completed and ready for use or having it in September when the heavy use will have started. The item appears on the agenda for discussion Tuesday, along with a discussion about a sign for Westvale Park.

Also on the agenda is the train resignalization project. Borough Engineer Stephen Boswell is expected to talk about the project while Borough Administrator Robert Hoffmann is slated to discuss the funding.
