Westwood, County Police Respond to K-Mart Bomb Scare
Police evacuated the store while bomb-sniffing dogs searched for explosives.

Bergen County Police and two bomb-sniffing dogs searched the Westwood Plaza K-Mart after a man reportedly asked a customer what would happen if a bomb was inside, according to Westwood Police Chief Frank Regino.
Regino told Patch that a store manager reported the incident to police at about 3:05 p.m. Wednesday. Police then evacuated the store while county police searched inside. Emerson Police then found a man nearby on Broadway who matched the description given by the store manager.
The store reopened at about 4:10 Wednesday, after police apparently found no bomb.
