1740 Stone House In Wyckoff To Host Halloween Themed Event
Uriah Quackenbush's granddaughter lived in the stone house in Wyckoff until her death in 1973. Now your family can trick-or-treat there.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Want to bring the kids and trick or treat at a genuine centuries-old stone house?
The town will hold a trick-or-treat event at the Zabriske House, which dates back to 1740.
According to the Wyckoff Historical Society, "It remained in the Van Voorhees family until 1864. It was sold in 1867 to Uriah Quackenbush. The last resident, Uriah’s granddaughter, Grace Quackenbush Zabriskie, donated the pond in front of the house and five surrounding acres to the town in 1963. She continued to develop extensive gardens until her death in 1973."
