Register for Wyckoff Recreation Leagues

The Wyckoff Department of Recreation and Parks will hold registration for its winter schedule and spring lacrosse season in the Eisenhower Middle School cafeteria from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 26.

The wide range of basketball activities available include recreation basketball leagues for boys and girls in grades 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 and a high school league. The registration fee for all levels is $70.

Besides the extensive basketball programs, Wyckoff Recreation also offers Traveling Basketball Cheerleading Squads, Wrestling for grades 2-8, and an indoor soft-stick Lacrosse program for boys and girls in grades 1-2. The registration fees are $50 for the 1st/2nd grade lacrosse program, and $70 for wrestling and cheerleading.

The registration fee for lacrosse is $100, which includes $75 for the recreation registration and $25 for the mandatory US Lacrosse registration (one check for $100 is fine for registration). Next year will mark the inaugural season for Girls Lacrosse in Wyckoff.

The lacrosse season begins on March 1 and runs through May. Teams will practice a minimum of twice per week and play at least two games per week, as well.

Residents also can register for the open gym program on Oct. 26. Open gym will begin Nov. 29 at Eisenhower. Space in this program is limited to the first 100 Wyckoff residents who register on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee is $60.
