
Police are investigating a robbery of a Lindenhurst 7-Eleven that occurred on Sunday night.
Police said a man entered the store located at 175 Sunrise Highway, at the corner of Straight Path, shortly after 7 p.m. and stated that he had a gun. The man did not actually display a weapon, police said.
Police did not reveal what the man demanded or if he fled the scene with any proceeds. No injuries were reported.

The robbery comes a week after a North Lindenhurst 7-Eleven was robbed by two men. In that incident, two employees were hospitalized for a minor injuries suffered during the robbery.
