Bedford School Board to Hear Results of Superintendent Survey

The Bedford Central School District Board of Education will receive a report at a meeting Feb. 10 from consultants which will present information about the search for a new superintendent.

The Leadership Profile Report was derived from focus groups, individual interviews with school and community members and an online survey.

Offcials said the report was gleaned from answers to the following three questions:

1. What are the strengths of the Bedford school district?
2. What are the greatest challenges facing the district?
3. What are the characteristics community members would like to see in the next superintendent?

More than 110 participants took part in individual interviews and focus groups, the board said, with more than 652 taking the online survey.
