Lane Closures Scheduled for Next Week on I-684
The maintenance work is set for the the whole week.

BEDFORD, NY — Road crews performing maintenance work on I-684 will necessitate lane closures the week of September 19.
The state Department of Transportation said the closures are expected Monday, September 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. northbound between Exit 4 (Route 172) and Exit 5 (Saw Mill River Parkway).
Beginning Tuesday, September 20 through Friday, September 23 lane closures are expected daily from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. southbound between Exit 4 and Exit 5.

The maintenance will take place weather permitting.
The DOT said that drivers should use caution traveling through work zones and pay attention to traffic control devices.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone, and convictions of two or more speeding violations could result in the suspension of a driver license.
