Wind Causing Power Outages in Bedford, Lewisboro

BEDFORD, NY — The high winds are taking their toll on electricity throughout the region.

NYSEG customers in the Town of Bedford are seeing 106 outages. For most of the Bedford customers, there is not estimated time for restoration. Katonah customers without power could see the lights come on by 6 p.m. Feb. 13.

In the Town of Lewisboro, there 611 customers without electricity. South Salem leads with the most outages, at 501. Except for a few people, the electricity is estimated to be restored by 5:15 p.m. Feb. 13.

A handful of customers in the Town of Somers are waiting to have their power restored.
