Brutal Cold Continues and Snow is on the Way

The cold snap continued throughout the Hudson Valley Thursday morning, and now the region is looking at a chance of snow showers, according to the National Weather Service.

On the bright side, the snow likely will not accumulate beyond an inch, if that much.

Hudson Valley Weather says snow showers could start “well after midnight” Thursday, and that the rough winds will die down.

Friday could see some snow showers in the morning, but that will give way to sun and clouds during the day. Highs in the region will reach the low 30s and breezy.

Saturday and Sunday will see temperatures reach the 20s and 30s, but gusty winds return.

Next week, look for slightly warmer temperatures but a chance of snow Monday and Tuesday.
