Stop & Shop Celebrates Grand Reopening of Eastchester Store
Remodeled Store Features a Fresh New Look, Refreshed Produce, Meat, Seafood Departments, and Self-checkout
Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, has unveiled its newly remodeled store in Eastchester, NY, located at 420 White Plains Road. The store updates are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier for local customers.
The Grand Reopening reveals a newly expanded produce section with a greater variety of organic and locally sourced fruit and vegetables and the addition of easy meal solutions and quick, grab-and-go meal options. Customers who visited the store during the Grand Opening weekend from August 13th through 15th were treated to product giveaways, bonus GO Reward points for extra savings, and a slice of celebratory cake.

“We’re thrilled to provide our local customers with more fresh, healthy, and convenient offerings,” said Mike Donnelly, Store Manager of Stop & Shop Eastchester. “We’ve added more of what our customers want and upgrades they need to get their shopping done faster and get back to feeding the moments of their life.”
To celebrate the remodel, Stop & Shop will donate $1000 to Westchester-based Cuddles from Cassidy. Cassidy, a pediatric cancer survivor and former patient at MSK Kids at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, was the face of Stop & Shop’s annual Help Cure Childhood Cancer Campaign. Cassidy and her foundation, Cuddles from Cassidy Pediatric Cancer Foundation, is committed to acting as a source of love and comfort to families and children going through the harsh reality of pediatric cancer. This donation will assist Cassidy in providing toys, school supplies and other necessities to help children and families through treatment.
