EASTPORT, NY — A little lost dog found in Eastport is now waiting for his owner to come bring him home.
The dog was found near Old Country Road in Eastport at 2 p.m. Monday; he's a Pekingese with no microchip and is "very sweet," according to Alexa and Linda Lampasona, who found him and brought him to the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation, located at 102 Old Riverhead Road West in Hampton Bays.
