The premise of the “Chopped” television programs is having four competitive cooks create dishes from a seemingly random assortment of items, some processed and some in raw form.
Three judges then taste the dishes and “chop” one of the cooks. The remaining chefs go on to compete in a second round, where one is chopped. The final two cooks compete head to head and are judged on all three of their dishes.
